Care that meets you where you are.

Come as you are

The Liminal Clinic is for adults who live at the intersections of identity, neurodivergence, trauma and life changes. We support people who are tired of simplifying their story or shrinking themselves just to feel understood.

Our therapy is thoughtful, ongoing and designed for those ready to explore their experiences with honesty and depth. We're not a crisis or urgent-care service. Instead, we offer a supportive and affirming space for clients seeking real, lasting change.

At Liminal, your complexity is welcomed, respected and never pathologised.

New clients

Several things at once Four arches drawn as single lines, each offset from the last so they cross rather than nest. A single dot sits where three of them meet.

Your identity is not a diagnosis.

Your complexity is not a problem to solve. It's a map. And we're here to walk with you with curiosity, clinical excellence and real human care.

The flags and symbols below represent many of the people in our community — who we work with, and who we are at The Liminal Clinic. We lead by lived and clinical experience, and we walk alongside those like us through liminal spaces, together.

Honouring Country and connection

Always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

The Liminal Clinic is based in Prahran, on the Traditional Lands of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and Bunurong peoples of the East Kulin Nations. We honour their unbroken connection to Country, culture, and story, and pay our respect to Elders past and present.

We extend this respect to First Nations peoples across Australia — including Sistergirls, Brotherboys, and all gender-diverse and queer Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, whose lives, leadership, and stories embody what it means to walk through liminal spaces with courage and grace.

They're deadly AF!

We recognise that First Nations peoples have always lived in the in-between — between past and future, continuity and change, resistance and renewal — and we walk with humility in that shared spirit of transformation and connection.

I'm not a clinician, yet. I'm very good at making the path to one shorter. I'm here for everything that's not therapy.

I don't view therapy as applying a strategy to a person. It's existing alongside you with deep curiosity and unconditional acceptance.

Liminal Psychology.

Two chairs

Therapy that makes space for all of you. Support for everyday challenges — anxiety, depression and mood, stress and burnout, grief and loss, sleep, anger and emotional regulation, self-esteem, work and study pressure — and for the bigger crossings: trauma, neurodivergence, identity, relationships and intimacy. In Prahran or on a screen anywhere, at a pace that fits how your mind actually works.

Liminal Screening and Assessment.

A closer look

Clarity and direction through life’s in-between spaces. Our screening and assessment services are designed to help you move through those liminal moments where things feel uncertain. We offer inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodivergence-affirming approaches that honour lived experience, giving you clearer insight and practical pathways forward. Neurospicy screening when you want clarity about ADHD or autism; full assessments for ADHD, autism and AuDHD (usually three to five sessions); and WPATH letters for gender-affirming care, aligned with the Standards of Care (usually three to six sessions, in person or by telehealth).

What shapes how we care.

Five things we hold to, in every session and every email.

  1. 01.

    Unapologetically human

We welcome all of you — messy, complex and real. Nothing needs tidying before you arrive.

  2. 02.

    Intersectional empathy

Gender, sexuality, neurotype, culture, faith, ability: all of it in the room, none of it an afterthought.

  3. 03.

    Led by lived experience

Our own journeys, and our communities', shape how we listen and what we notice.

  4. 04.

    Safe, inclusive passage

Care that stays culturally and emotionally safe through the uncertain, in-between places.

  5. 05.

    Integrity, innovation and growth

Ethical, evidence-based practice that keeps learning, and uses technology openly and carefully.
