Help Shape What Comes Next

At Liminal Clinic, we create space for the in-between — those moments of transition where the past no longer quite fits and the future is still taking shape.

This idea of liminality is central to the work we do with clients, and it also reflects where we are as a clinic. We are in a period of growth and development, building a practice that brings together thoughtful clinical care, lived experience, and evidence-informed approaches.

We are looking for psychologists and team members who are interested in helping shape that journey — people who value reflective practice, inclusive care, and meaningful professional development.

Whether you are newly registered, early in your career, or an experienced clinician looking for a values-aligned environment, Liminal Clinic aims to offer a space where you can grow your practice while contributing to something evolving and collaborative.

Our Approach to Care

Our work is grounded in the belief that healing and growth are deeply personal and shaped by identity, experience, and context. We provide care that is affirming, inclusive, and responsive to the realities people live within.

Our clinical approach includes:

  • Inclusive and Intersectional Practice: We recognise that identity, marginalisation, and social context shape people’s experiences of mental health and wellbeing.

  • Lived Experience Awareness: We value lived experience as a source of understanding, empathy, and insight when working with clients navigating complex realities.

  • Person-Centred Care: Therapy is collaborative and shaped around each client’s goals, values, and lived experience.

  • Trauma-Informed Practice: All clinicians work from trauma-informed principles, drawing on approaches such as trauma-informed CBT and EMDR 2.0.

  • Evidence-Informed and Data-Driven Care: Validated measures and screening tools help guide treatment and track progress over time.

  • Neurodivergence-Affirming Practice: We recognise neurodivergence as a meaningful and valid part of identity and adapt our approaches to work with different ways of thinking, processing, and experiencing the world.

  • Technology and Innovation: We thoughtfully incorporate technology and AI to support accessibility, screening, and personalised care.

Our Team Structure

As Liminal Clinic continues to grow, we are developing a collaborative team structure designed to support both clients and clinicians. Our aim is to build a practice where different roles work together to create thoughtful, accessible, and high-quality care.

This structure includes three interconnected areas that support the work of the clinic.

Client Care Team

Client care focuses on creating a welcoming and supportive experience for people reaching out to the clinic. As we grow, this area will support clients through the intake process, help coordinate appointments, and ensure that people feel informed and supported from their first contact with us.

Developing strong client care processes allows clinicians to focus more fully on therapeutic work while ensuring that clients feel guided and respected throughout their journey.

Clinical Care Team

Clinical care sits at the heart of the clinic. This includes psychologists and other mental health professionals providing therapy, assessments, and specialised psychological support.

As the clinic grows, we are building a collaborative clinical community where practitioners can develop their interests, refine their practice, and contribute to a thoughtful and evolving model of care.

Clinic Support Team

Clinic support includes the operational and systems work that helps a practice run well. This may include areas such as administration, technology, systems development, and service coordination.

As we continue to grow, these functions will help create the infrastructure that supports clinicians and enables the clinic to deliver high-quality care in sustainable ways.

As a growing clinic, many aspects of this structure are still evolving. We are looking for people who are interested in contributing to this development and helping shape the kind of practice Liminal Clinic will become.

At The Liminal Clinic, lived experience and authenticity are as important as professional training. We welcome psychologists, allied health professionals, and lived-experience and peer-support practitioners who bring curiosity, openness, and compassion — people who listen deeply, hold space without rushing, and embrace the complexity of real lives.

OUR VALUES

We believe in care that is patient, honest and real. We know healing doesn’t always follow a straight line, and that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to mental health. As a team we live these values to ensure individuals are supported in a way that works for them.

  • We welcome all of you — messy, complex, and real. We embrace the full spectrum of human experience, emotions and missteps included, and model compassionate presence without apology.

There’s no need to shrink or explain.

  • We centre every facet of your identity—gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, culture and ability - modelling deep, multifaceted understanding so you feel truly seen.

We see your full identity across gender, neurotype, culture, ability - all of you.

  • We draw on both our own and our community’s journeys, using lived experience to guide how we listen, learn, and support.

With openness, curiosity, and resilience, we show up in our work in ways that are real and informed.

  • We guide you through spaces and identities that may feel uncertain or misunderstood, offering culturally and emotionally safe care with empathy, understanding, and adaptability.

We see you, let us guide you.

  • We uphold ethical, evidence-informed practice, while embracing technology, community connection, and continual learning.

Offering care that is both meaningful and ever-evolving.

  • Feeling burnt out?

We support you in finding balance and a path to reset.

  • Feeling Numb?

Detached or disconnected from your feelings? We provide a safe space for you to reconnect and rebuild.
