Pricing & Rebates
At The Liminal Clinic, we’re committed to providing transparent and accessible care.
Finances shouldn’t be the reason therapy feels out of reach. We’re upfront about fees, flexible in how we work together, and as we grow, we’ll continue expanding options across a wider range of budgets.

Our sessions are a shared commitment
When you book with Liminal Clinic, that time is reserved solely for you. We honour that commitment with focused, thoughtful care, and we ask our clients to do the same.
We encourage clients to be confident in their availability when making appointments. Consistency matters — it helps build momentum in your treatment. While flexibility is sometimes needed, frequent rescheduling or cancellations can affect your outcomes.
New clients are asked to pay in advance to confirm their first appointment.
We also securely collect card details to simplify payments for future sessions.
Our Session Fee Policy
-
We know life can be unpredictable. If something changes, please contact us as early as possible so we can support your care without losing momentum.
If you can’t attend in person, we encourage switching to an online session or, where needed, a one-off phone session. While phone appointments can be used occasionally, we do not provide ongoing phone-only care.
Where rescheduling is unavoidable, appointments can be moved up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time.
-
Appointments cannot be rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice. If you cannot attend, this is treated as a short-notice cancellation.
Less than 2 business days (48 hours) notice: 50% of the session fee applies.
Less than 1 business day (24 hours) notice: 100% of the session fee applies.
Notice periods are calculated in business days (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm) and are counted backwards from the time of your appointment (excluding weekends and public holidays).
-
We understand that illness and emergencies happen. Where possible, if we can fill your appointment with another client, cancellation fees may be waived. Otherwise, short-notice fees are only waived where a medical certificate is provided within 72 hours.
Our goal is to teach clients how to attend, not how to cancel. Holding to this policy supports your progress, protects our clinicians’ time, and respects other clients who may be waiting for care.

We approach therapy as meaningful, long-term care, not a quick fix.
Our pricing reflects a commitment to depth, consistency and progress over time.
We work best with clients who are ready to invest in real change, typically over 3 to 12 months.
Rebates can support your journey, but we encourage planning for care that extends beyond the limits of a Medicare referral.
